2023 Hyundai Santa Fe
It’s that time again! That’s right, back by popular demand, its the Car’s in Review post. This week we will be exploring the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe, and well let’s be honest, a farewell to the Santa Fe as we all know it. Have you seen what they did with the 2024 version? Tears, that’s all I can say. Why mess with something that was already perfect? But I guess they knew what they were doing…right? Overview – What’s New? So first things first, the price. The 2023 version starts at $30,085 and honestly not much changed, besides the reshuffling of standard equipment of course. Hyundai decided to remove the…

Drive Festival 2023
Last weekend (Sept 8-10) Drive Festival was held at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, and although it was quite popular I still feel like a feature post would boost next years’ attendance. 2023 marked 3 years for this event, so still quite new out there, but that didn’t stop motorheads alike from attending. Drive Festival is the ultimate car show for gearheads in Canada, so it’s no surprise that new car technology and test drive opportunities are featured on the three test tracks at this event. In 2021, when the event was held from Sept 10-12, Drive Festival made history. 17,000 people attended and this helped to make Drive Festival…

Movie Review: Gran Turismo
In this week’s blog post, I decided to change things up a little, and do a movie review. I will be reviewing the movie ‘Gran Turismo’ which believe it or not, is based on a true story. This movie is a prime example of a young kid with a burning desire to follow his dreams, and he shows that dreams really can come true, if you work hard enough to achieve them. Movie Summary This true story follows a team made from some unlikely people – a working-class gamer, a former race-car driver, and an idealistic motorsport executive – who come together and risk it all to take part in…

Company Profile: Lexus – Marketing History
In this week’s blog post, I will be covering the history behind one of my favourite car brands and just what it took for them to position themselves in the automotive industry the way they have. That’s right, I’m talking about Lexus. So I think the best way to start this week’s post, is to venture a little into the history of the Lexus car company. Lexus was established in 1983, around the same time as its Japanese rivals, Honda and Nissan created their luxury divisions, Acura and Infiniti. Owned and operated under the Toyota Motor Corporation, Lexus cars were originally manufactured in Japan. It was only recently (in 2003)…

Friday Feature: 2023 Jaguar F Type
We made it to another Friday Feature and this week’s edition is a real looker, if I do say so myself. In this week’s blog post, we will be covering the ins and outs of the 2023 Jaguar F Type – the true definition of a luxury sports car. The price range for this vehicle is a little surprising to me, given the fact the price seems a little low (in my opinion for a base model under the Jaguar name), starting at $87,200 and going all the way up to $124,000 for the highest model in the group. In terms of which one is best to buy? I personally…
