Friday Feature – Spotlight: Lewis Hamilton – Formula One
In this weeks blog post, we will be doing a bit of a throwback since I haven’t written one of these in a while. We will be covering a Spotlight/Friday Feature on Lewis Hamilton – the famous Formula One driver for Mercedes. We all know him by Lewis Hamilton in the Formula One world, but since he was knighted in 2021, he was re-named Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton (okay, maybe the Sir part was the only new real edition) point is, he’s a big deal no matter what you know him as. Born on January 7, 1985 in Stevenage, England to parents, Anthony Hamilton and Carmen Larbalestier, Lewis (like many…

Movie Review: Schumacher (2021 Film)
Welcome to our 3rd edition of the Movie Review. In this week’s blog post we will be reviewing the movie called Schumacher – based on the world’s greatest driver of all time, Michael Schumacher. This movie explored the life and career of the 7 time Formula 1 champion, definitely making it worth the watch. It was released in 2021 in Germany and was directed (and co-directed) by an all German crew. Movie Summary Michael’s story was like many others in the limelight – cameras in his face, name in the news headlines, millions of followers worldwide but it was his strong will and determination that put him in the center…

Movie Review: Ford vs. Ferrari
I have decided to do another movie review to switch things up again. This week, Ford vs Ferrari will be under review, and as a person who actually watched this movie I have to say, personally I thought it was really good. Of course its no Fast and Furious series or Speed, but nonetheless, it still managed a pretty good rating and made a decent amount of money at the box office. And with big names like Christian Bale and Matt Damon in the leading roles, you know this will be a movie to remember. Movie Summary This movie, although fictitious at some points, took the real story of Enzo…

In Loving Memory – Paul Walker
Since November 30th of this year has been 10 years since Paul Walker passed away, I found it fitting to create a blog post in dedication of him. I can’t believe how fast time flies. There was so much that has happened since then, but it still feels like I heard the news of his death for the first time yesterday. Paul Walker had a very particular reputation in the public eye, and it was a good thing. The day that he passed away, Paul and his long time friend Roger Rodas, spent the day at a toy drive event for his disaster relief charity, Reach Out Worldwide, founded in…

Movie Review: Gran Turismo
In this week’s blog post, I decided to change things up a little, and do a movie review. I will be reviewing the movie ‘Gran Turismo’ which believe it or not, is based on a true story. This movie is a prime example of a young kid with a burning desire to follow his dreams, and he shows that dreams really can come true, if you work hard enough to achieve them. Movie Summary This true story follows a team made from some unlikely people – a working-class gamer, a former race-car driver, and an idealistic motorsport executive – who come together and risk it all to take part in…
