Tax on Imports? Yes, in a Trump Future

As I’m sure most of my readers have heard by now, the President of the United States wants to impose taxes on some of the key products that are traded between Canada, Mexico, the United States, and China, and unfortunately this includes cars and car parts as well. The tariff was supposed to come into effect February 1, but after talks between Trudeau and Trump on February 3, it has been postponed until March 1. Nonetheless, if the tariff is imposed on the 3 named countries, it really will change the way things are, especially for Mexico, the United States, and Canada.  Now although Trump claims that the United States…

    2025 Volkswagen Jetta

I have never featured a Volkswagen car under review since I established this website almost 4 years ago (surprising I know!), so in light of being a little more daring this year, I decided to write about one of their more practical everyday cars, that’s right you guessed it, the Jetta! That’s right, I’m writing about the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray this week and what a looker it is. Whew!  New for 2025 First things first, what’s new? Previously this car only came available in 14 different color options with 10 of the 14 colors having an added charge associated to it. This year however, the color options have been reduced to only 10, with new interior and…

    2025 Honda Civic Hybrid

We made it to another car in review! In this week’s blog post we will be reviewing the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid. Honda is a very reliable brand – one of the best out there if you ask me – and the 2025 model is no exception. With a release date set for Summer 2024 there’s a lot that we know about this new edition (and a lot that we still have yet to learn about).  Not surprisingly, the price tag on one of these is actually not too expensive – starting from $25,345 and going to around $35,000 – which is still within range for the price tags from…
