Alpine Has Entered the EV World

    September 13, 2024 /

I’ve only ever written a blog post on the car company Alpine once before, but they did something that really struck my interest and I decided to make that this week’s topic. Alpine has entered the EV world, and now for my European readers, this may be old news or not something that you think is post worthy, but here in Canada, we like to make a big deal of it.  Alpine announced they would be entering the American market with their latest edition, A110 EV, in 2026 and if it extends to Canada, that would mean 7 new models will be introduced on the market. Exciting, isn’t it? Well,…

    Movie Review: Ford vs. Ferrari

    May 10, 2024 /

I have decided to do another movie review to switch things up again. This week, Ford vs Ferrari will be under review, and as a person who actually watched this movie I have to say, personally I thought it was really good. Of course its no Fast and Furious series or Speed, but nonetheless, it still managed a pretty good rating and made a decent amount of money at the box office. And with big names like Christian Bale and Matt Damon in the leading roles, you know this will be a movie to remember.   Movie Summary This movie, although fictitious at some points, took the real story of Enzo…

In Loving Memory – Ralph “Dale” Earnhardt Senior

    March 29, 2024 /

February 18, 2001 would go on to mean more to Dale Earnhardt’s family than he would ever know. Not only was it the day of the biggest race of the year, one of which his son was part of, it was also the last day he would be seen alive.  ~ Known as the fearless “intimidator”, Earndhardt lived up to his nickname, even in his last minutes of being alive. He was racing in a three man team, acting as the rear gunner for his teammates in an attempt to block any other contenders from securing the win. Lap 3 was a success but it was Lap 4 that would…

Friday Feature – Spotlight: Charles Leclerc – F1 Driver for Ferrari

    January 19, 2024 /

Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc (known better as Charles Leclerc) was born on October 16, 1997 in Monte Carlo, Monaco. His parents, Hervé Leclerc and Pascale Leclerc had three kids; Charles, Arthur, and Lorenzo, with Charles being the middle child. Growing up in Monaco really was the birthplace of his passion, as it is considered to be known for its motorsport culture. His father also had a pretty big influence on Charles’ career choice as well, as he was a former racing driver for both Formula 2 and Formula 3 from the 80s and 90s. Sadly, he passed away in 2017 at the age of 54 after battling a long…
