Friday Feature – Spotlight: Charles Leclerc – F1 Driver for Ferrari

    January 19, 2024 /

Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc (known better as Charles Leclerc) was born on October 16, 1997 in Monte Carlo, Monaco. His parents, Hervé Leclerc and Pascale Leclerc had three kids; Charles, Arthur, and Lorenzo, with Charles being the middle child. Growing up in Monaco really was the birthplace of his passion, as it is considered to be known for its motorsport culture. His father also had a pretty big influence on Charles’ career choice as well, as he was a former racing driver for both Formula 2 and Formula 3 from the 80s and 90s. Sadly, he passed away in 2017 at the age of 54 after battling a long…

    Movie Review: Gran Turismo

    September 1, 2023 /

In this week’s blog post, I decided to change things up a little, and do a movie review. I will be reviewing the movie ‘Gran Turismo’ which believe it or not, is based on a true story. This movie is a prime example of a young kid with a burning desire to follow his dreams, and he shows that dreams really can come true, if you work hard enough to achieve them.  Movie Summary This true story follows a team made from some unlikely people – a working-class gamer, a former race-car driver, and an idealistic motorsport executive – who come together and risk it all to take part in…

June’s Spotlight: 5 of the Most Iconic Cars Featured in the Fast and Furious Movie Series:

    June 23, 2023 /

The Fast and The Furious movie series started all the way back in 2001 and is still very popular today. In this week’s blog post, we will be covering 5 of the most iconic cars ever featured in this movie, and although Paul Walker’s 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 may have taken the title, there are some more that follow not that far behind. 1 – 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R This seemed like the only real way to start this blog post, not only as a way to pay tribute to the late great Paul Walker but also because why not start with the best of all time? (even if…

    2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse

    February 17, 2023 /

With the year just starting it’s hard to think so far into the future, but in the automotive world, you can never think too far ahead. Ford is already introducing the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse and I have to say it looks very sexy…for a car. It has so many defined and jaw dropping features, making this a very stylish car overall. It will be available for purchase in the Summer of 2023, and trust me, despite the frigid Canadian weather we have been having, Summer is not that far away.  Ford has introduced one of it’s top models – the Mustang – in a couple of different ways already…

What’s the Real Deal with JDM?

    November 25, 2022 /

Happy belated Thanksgiving to my American visitors! I hope it was a good one. This week’s blog post is going to be about JDM cars, so let’s get into it! JDM is a term that everyone has heard of at least once in their life, but what does the acronym really mean? JDM or Japanese Domestic Market refers to cars that are made by Japanese companies, made within the country’s regulations. But what makes these cars so special? Keep reading to find out! For a long time now, JDM cars have been popular in the automotive market around the world. Interestingly enough, Japanese made cars were only introduced to the…
